Welcome to Dirty South FPV Park at Run-A-Muck Farms!

The Southeast’s Premier FPV Drone Playground – Built by Pilots, for Pilots!

Tucked deep in the woods in the heart of the southeastern US, the Dirty South FPV Park at Run-A-Muck Farms is where freestyle flying, racing, and community all come together. Powered by the passion and sweat of the Dirty South Bandhoes FPV crew and other volunteer pilots, we’re turning a family homestead into an epic, ever-evolving drone oasis, complete with technical challenges, chill spots, and southern vibes! Every ramp, gate, and glowing LED was donated or hand-crafted with love, grit, and a sweaty shared passion for the freedom of flight.

We’re more than just a park, we’re a rebellion against the sterile, the corporate, and the conformist. This is a safe space for misfits, makers, and midnight tinkerers who see the world differently, who hear the buzz of rotors as music, and who find peace in the chaos of flight.

What to Expect:

  • ✈️ Dynamic freestyle zones & racing lines
  • 🛠️ New builds and terrain features added regularly
  • 🔥 Chill hangouts, BBQs, and good old southern hospitality
  • 🚫 Reservation-only access for safety and privacy
  • 💪 Built 100% by volunteers and drone-lovin’ misfits

Whether you’re a local ripper or a road-trippin’ quad slinger, this will be your new favorite spot to throw down. Plus, you’ll be supporting an all-grassroots project as we attempt to expand and access to more of the family-owned property over time.

October 11-12, 2025: Community work weekend! Camping is available so bring a tent! Please NO RVs or campers, we don’t have the space for them right now, but bring your tents and tools and help us build something awesome!

October 18-19, 2025: MadmanFPV’s birthday bash! This time, bring tents and drones and we will be having a good time enjoying the work from the previous weekend!

Fly Time at Dirty South FPV Park

Fly Drones. Respect the Dirt and the People.

Because Dirty South FPV Park is located on private, family-run land at Run-A-Muck Farms, all flying is by reservation only, or when we have designated meetups. No drop-ins, no exceptions. This keeps things safe, smooth, and respectful for both the property and the community.

8.5 miles east/northeast off Hwy 280 near Chelsea, AL
Exact directions will be sent when you make your reservation!

  • Reservations are required for every pilot and guest. Really it’s just more of a let us know you are coming in advance kind of thing.
  • This is a volunteer-built park. Donations and helping hands are always welcome.
  • Flying is at your own risk—spotters are encouraged, we are in the woods after all.
  • Be cool, be respectful, and Run-A-Muck!

Help Us Grow, One Prop at a Time

Dirty South FPV Park is 100% grassroots — built by pilots, for pilots, right here on Run-A-Muck Farms. This park is powered by community passion, creative recycling, and the kindness of folks who want to see the FPV scene thrive in the Dirty South.

We’re building this park the hard way — with our own two hands, on our own time, using what we’ve got (or what y’all bless us with). Every little bit helps us build better features, keep the park safe and flyable, and expand into more of the farm.

How You Can Donate and Support

We are getting ready to launch some great merchandise in which all proceeds after costs of the sale will go to grow the park!
This merchandise will be sold through the Run-A-Muck Farms website which will be linked from here when the store is complete and items are up for sale!

With this, we will be able ot sell official sponsorships so that businesses can play a bigger role in helping us build the park! These kind of sponsorships would come with things like website and social media placements as well as banner spots, full banners, or feather flags that will fly in the park, putting those sponsors in front of the eyes of everyone not only flying, but who also sees flight footage, social content, and more!

We’ve got an up-to-date Amazon list of tools, materials, and supplies that get shipped directly to the farm. Want to help us build? Just send us a piece of the puzzle. Every piece is greatly appreciated!

We are always in need of tools, building materials, and landscaping supplies! You can now purchase us a Home Depot gift card to help us build out the park in a big way!

Please fill out the gift card form with the following information:
Sender name: Your name or pilot name
Recipient Name: Dirty South FPV Park (If it gives you a problem, use Adam Vinsant, the owner of the property)
Email: donate@dirtysouthfpvpark.com

💵 Onsite Cash Donations

Old school but always appreciated. If you’re flying with us in person, feel free to drop a few bucks in the donation jar near the main flight zone. Every dollar helps us build something new.

👷🏻 Onsite Material Donations and Volunteer Labor

If you have some old lumber, pipes, playground equipment, mulch, or other building and landscaping materials, we will happily take it on-site! What would be even cooler, is if you stayed around and helped us build some awesome stuff that we can fly through for that amazing freestyle rush and video footage we are all seeking! We will happily accept donated material and manual labor! Just look out for the next scheduled park workday in the ‘Meetups’ section below!
